I was referring to correctness, not logicality... Besides, that was also aimed at Tails' comment about erroneous grammar:

The ellipses followed by a period (....) denotes the omission of a sentence between sentences, not just a trailing of speech or the omission of words. As for the "s," Tails has two of his namesake, so my subconscious jumped to thinking that "Tails" is a plural noun, and I didn't catch it when I re-read that...
