Coleoptera, Cantharidae, and the defense mechanism is a chemical spray of some sort...(sorry if I'm not that descriptive) :lol:

Not sure but I think it's called Cantharadin, it causes blisters on human skin or some sort of welt like a blister I forgot

Sorry that the answer wasn't really clear. I couldn't find it..and I didn't really know it that well. At least I learned something new! :lol:
Order, Family, and (this was on the news a while back) when the swarm of these insects showed up on a weather radar, which river were these insects flying around? If the question was kinda confusing to you...disregard it. :)

Ephemeroptera, I don't think the family is listed on the official list, and the Mississippi River
