Re: Bungee Drop C
Has anybody figured out a better solution than mass data collection? We can't find any 10m heights to test from...but it doesn't seem like anybody is willing to share if they have figured out an accurate equation that actually works... any ideas ?

Wellll sophia maybe if you actually tried the equation you'd know if it's accurate or not *glaresartysophia wrote:Has anybody figured out a better solution than mass data collection? Re: Bungee Drop C
The best place for 10 m drops for us was a nearby hotel. Check the clearance between the stairwell. We found one with a 2 ft. gap which was plenty for dropping in. Plus it let us collect at various heights. Good luck.

Re: Bungee Drop C
Im not sure if any of you know this but the heights from last years nationals were only around 5-6 meters. It is likely that the heights will not be any higher this year.

From the photo of the event location posted, if they have the setup by the rails, it looks like it'll be around 4-5 meters.Techsam wrote:Im not sure if any of you know this but the heights from last years nationals were only around 5-6 meters. Unfortunately, the heights for nationals have to be between 5-10 meters. So I'm afraid it probably won't be by the rails, or your estimate is off.bernard wrote:From the photo of the event location posted, if they have the setup by the rails, it looks like it'll be around 4-5 meters.Techsam wrote:Im not sure if any of you know this but the heights from last years nationals were only around 5-6 meters. The ceiling for the upper area in the pictures doesn't look too high so maybe they'll be on the lower end of the range with a setup similar to what they did last year.chinesesushi wrote:Unfortunately, the heights for nationals have to be between 5-10 meters. Unfortunately, one of the national heights was lower than 5 meters. It wont be an event next year so I think teams can be rest easier now that this event wont cause anymore stress.chinesesushi wrote:Unfortunately, the heights for nationals have to be between 5-10 meters.
