Music writing software seems more professional and is neater than handwritten sheets of music. Use free music notation software such as Noteflight or Musescore (noteflight is better in my opinion).
Good luck!

I have this event on Saturday, and I was wondering if we are allowed to use a guitar pick. My instrument is a cigar box guitar. Thx

You'd have to make your own guitar pick. A commercial guitar pick would break the no-commerical-instrument-parts-except-strings rule.

Thx. I'll fingerpick, then.

Yeah, agreed with Z. However, it isn't very difficult to make your own pick. I've heard that picks make by cutting up a used credit card work well, and there are probably other methods.

Couple of questions from the team. Is it ok to use a guitar foot stool to prop up your left foot when playing a cookie tin guitar if you are used to playing classical style guitar or does this violate the no professional parts except for strings rule. The stool is just to help with comfortable positioning while playing, it's not actually a part of the instrument itself. Sheet music stands are allowed, so we were thinking a foot stool might be ok too. A thick book would also work, but awkward to carry around.
Also, is the 4 points for the 2 scales for the treble instrument for 2 F major scales, using B3 flat and B4 flat, or can you get the 4 points if you play all the "white key" notes from F3 to G5. We made a B4 flat for the mandatory F major scale, but were wondering if we have to add a B3 flat too. We are not doing the full chromatic scale.
Thanks.
