I just went through the forum, couple people mentioning making it with an adjustable fulcrum. Personally, I've made one without an adjustable fulrum, but I'd like to see what the other form of a lever (an adjustable fulcrum) would be like. (do you keep the lever stagnant and move the fulcrum? or move the lever with the fulcrum stagnant) Also, the construction of osmething like that seems really interesting/hard to visualize

Good Afternoon,
I'm in need of a Simple Machines test. I'm new to the event and would like to have one to look at for future reference. Yes, I'm aware that there is one test posted on the Wiki, but I'm looking for a test that you have created to run with your students, possibly a test that was used at an invitational, or a test that will be used at your regional for this year (if you or someone you know is running the regional event).
I have been a regional test supervisor for the following events:
- Crime Busters
- Can't Judge A Powder
- Meteorology
- Solar System
I would be willing to exchange a test in any of these events for a 2014 - Simple Machines B Test.
I have tests created for all of these events listed above based on the 2014 rules. They are ready to go in exchange for 2014 - Simple Machines B Test. Let me know if you are interested!

Hi, can someone explain to me the exact steps of calculating an unknown mass using a first class lever? I know that you're supposed to apply IMA, AMA, etc but I really have no idea how.

Something that might help, the "distance" is the distance to the fulcrum.
No one has any idea about the movable fulcrum idea still?? D:

It really depends on the types of ratios you'll be measuring. I'd set it up so you'll be more accurate for all the ratios possible.
