An individual medal. In other words, a medal that you get for an event that you do.

At our regionals it's top 4 in an event. (southeast) At states it's top 5 in an event.

Reply to eyeball138,
Thanks for commenting about our team! We (J.T.Lambert) had made it to states in 2007, but just missed the top 10, finishing 11th. Last year, however, we had a pretty good team and ended up making a pretty big impact, finishing 6th. We usually don't get much recognition because we are located close to Stroudsburg. Plus, we are in the same region as Greater Nanticoke (10th) and Wyoming Area (11th). All of us former 8th graders are now in the high school and are competing in C division now, but both teams (B and C) have a decent chance of qualifying for states.
As an added tidbit, the high school, East Stroudsburg High School South, has never made it to states! (but the top 7 make it to states in our region for C, and they placed 9th last year, so...)

Yeah, when Wyoming Area beat Stroudsburg last year at regionals, we were all wondering what happened. You're in a really tough region with all of those teams.

Good luck making it to states this year!

Thanks!
By the way, in regards to Stroudsburg, I don't think they are as strong as before, and they have a new coach, who teaches foreign language. Maybe this has no effect, but for some reason I don't see them getting any higher than 6th at states. Or maybe I'm just being too optimistic!

Here are my predictions for the separate regionals. This is probably a lot harder than doing it for states, but I'll give it my best shot here. I'm doing B because C I have no clue.
SE-Bala Cynwyd
NE-Greater Nanticoke (I had to go out on a limb somewhere)
CE-Fleetwood
SW-Sewickley
NW-DuBois (wow, that was hard)
C-Spring Grove (that was too)

For CE in C division, I'm going for either Exeter, Fleetwood, or Emmaus, and Harriton is probably (

) going to win SE. They're in SE, right?

Well, over the past couple of years, Penncrest has beat Harriton at regionals, and then Harriton has beat them at states. They both always make nationals and they're both from SE.

Wow, it seems like a toss-up to me. I guess, while we're at it, I'll predict the C Regions.
SE-Harriton (wow, this region has a lot of good teams)
NE-Athens
CE-Exeter Township
SW-Shady Side (how come Sewickley's not there?)
NW-State College
C-Bishop McDevitt
