There are two kinds of ciphers: substitution and transposition. A substitution cipher replaces each letter with another, and a transposition cipher rearranges the letters. This means that if text A is encoded with a transposition cipher to yield text B, then text B is an anagram of text A. So, if he used a transposition cipher, Esheo Aorht Disas Eomta probably contains a username somewhere in there. If he used a substitution cipher, well, I already tried the vigenère cipher, the keyword cipher, and the playfair cipher, and it took me an hour on google to find those, so if you can find another substitution cipher that has a keyword, consider Compute This.

Anybody good at anagrams? So far all the reasonable words I can find are Aia and death.

Someone already accused me of being Zorbak. And why thank you, Computernerd, you just made one homicidal maniac very happy. And evil as I am, I did not mean this cipher to be THAT hard. Well, I'll just wait for everyone to protect someone so I can reveal the cipher.

Ok, everyone is protected, right? Without further ado, I will explain the cipher and then mock for you letting Sheogorath die.
Esheo Aorht Disas Eomta
Keyword: Death
I gotta work backwards here, so bear with me. First, you take the keyword and rearrange it in alphabetical order so you get ADEHT. Then you put the blocks of five underneath so it looks like this:

ADEHT
Eshgo
Aorht
Disas
Eomta
Then, you rearrange the keyword back to DEATH.
DEATH
SHEOG
ORATH
ISDEA
DMEAT
Or, Sheogorath is dead meat, if read going left to right,
top to bottom. Perhaps it was a little confusing, and I
apologize for that.

So, everyone was so exhausted from trying to do this cipher that they all fell asleep, giving me the perfect opportunity to kill Sheogorath. As everyone slept, I simply stabbed him. Too simple? Perhaps, but I figured that after a complex cipher like this, simplicity was a welcome change.

My next clue is going to be a rebus puzzle of sorts. Find the synonyms.
Schist + Latin for "and" + Homo Sapiens Easier than last time? You bet. But I decided to give your brains a break. Good luck!

Normally, Im not rude, but since I'm the assassinator, I'm allowed to be. Ichaelm, you may not know the rules, but you're not an officer, so you can't protect anyone or accuse anyone. You also can't solve the ciphers and tell the officers who it is. That defeats the purpose of the whole 5 officer thing.
Hmm, looking back, that wasn't really rude after all.

Oh. Sorry.
Actually, that wasn't in the rules, but it should be, I realize.
Um, is it possible to delete a post?
