It sounds as if Forestry will have a field guide, list of specimens, and at least a sheet of notes. Possibly a binder._anatomy_ wrote:Will forestry allow a field guide, a list, and a sheet of notes that you can take to the competition?

Re: Preliminary:Forestry
hm, a binder might be a mixed blessing
personally, i think i might favor another field guide instead of a binder...
because with binders, you have to flip through all of it, and that does take a while, no matter how skilled you are with it and how much you tab and organize it... :/

Re: Preliminary:Forestry
I would like it to be like fossils
1 field guide and 1 binder
because of the identification, field guides will be very useful

I feel like a binder is kind of like a field guide, just made by yourself.

i did it as a trial event at solon invitational and got 5th so i want to do it next year
i am using the list from 2005, to prepare over the summer

Re: Preliminary:Forestry
In my opinion, don't use the list that much. It may end up being almost the same list for 2012, but I would study general information about specimens before you start studying for something that may not even be the real list._anatomy_ wrote:i am excited for forestry

Re: Preliminary:Forestry
Has anybody had any luck finding old tests on this event? I tried using Google to search around, but I haven't found anything.

No. I think it was an event 6 years ago so there haven't been many.Paddling Penguin wrote:Has anybody had any luck finding old tests on this event? I tried using Google to search around, but I haven't found anything.
