If there's no service either, then I'd probably try and find directions to a notable landmark (Times Square, Empire State, etc.), then find my way from there. If there is, then I'd go on Google Maps and find my location from there, then get directions to the nearest train station and ride to JFK International, then hop on a flight to Chicago.

Find the police station as a general strategy, from which I can phone aid. As a more precise tactic, ensure I'm never out in the wrong parts of town for too long.

Actually, my summer job is to write standardized tests. Yes, it's true; some people do get paid to write tests. It'd be slightly different than churning out sounds of music questions, something I did last summer, but what I'm doing is similar enough that it wouldn't exceed a minor annoyance to be without SciOly for only a single summer. However, I haven't heard back on whether the job will go virtual or be canceled though :(

That'd honestly be pretty cool. It could be inconvenient, but I mean in the modern world I ain't that bad. Also I'd probably be able to get something out of years of experience wake boarding, could probably find a way to make a living out of it.
