I just finished Ender's Game last night, and I loved it. It was recommended to me by a random person in Barns and Noble :? and I originally didn't think I would like it, especially because it is science fiction, but I thought the ending was amazing.

Ender's Game was a good book. I liked the twist at the end. But in the beginning and middle I was about to fall asleep. Not the best book, but certainly an entertaining one.

No.
It is the BEST book.
Ever.

I actually started rereading it again for like the 10th time. I really like it because books dont have to be jam packed with action and fighting everywhere. Ender's Game does have some action, but it's more psychological than actiony.

The only problem I have with it is that everybody has the ability to carry on witty banter. I mean everyone. You take two characters that never met, stick them in a room together, and suddenly theyre trading witty banter back and forth like pros. Im jealous =/

They're kinda different.

Ender's Shadow is a companion series that has Bean as the main character. The first one is basically Ender's Game, except we hear Bean's story instead of Ender's, and the rest of the series is what happens on Earth after the Bugger Wars, when the world is on the verge of entering war. It also has a lot to do with Peter and Petra. I liked the series a lot.

And the other series (Speaker For the Dead, Xenocide, Children of the Mind) is totally different. It shows Ender as an adult, and it introduces a third alien species, the pequininos. This series is more sciency and philosophical than it is actiony, but I also really liked them. It's just weird to keep thinking of it as the same series as Ender's Game, because they're totally different.

I'd recommend reading them all.
