It's possible. Stomach contractions still force the gases out. Equate it to burping while hanging upside down (you can still do it).

It's a myth, just like the one that you can't cry in space (you can).

I have a type of hemophilia, but I still have a hard time believing that one. If you have a nosebleed, you apply pressure to slow the bleeding. It might take several hours to clot, but you probably wouldn't just stand there, doing nothing. The blood loss from adding pressure is significantly lower than the alternative. Besides, Factor VIII transfusions are possible nowadays.

A little gruesome firsthand experience, but true.

okay, Attila the Hun died by a nosebleed. when he married his 7th wife they had a wedding feast where Attila got drunk. After the feast he had a super bad nosebleed but since he was drunk he didnt relize it and fell asleep. now he didnt bleed to death but he did roll over in his blood and drowned. so it is possible to die of a nosebleed. :shock:

i know lol. so is ellis island, i think, but idk im in new york and i always assoc the statue of liberty w nyc.

Liberty Island is still part of NY. Once you leave the island and are in the water though, then you're in NJ.

Ellis Island is part of both NY and NJ.
