Wow, States was amazing this year. I was really psyched to see some old and new competition this year. Boston Latin came back this year, which, in retrospective, kinda scared me. Anyway congratulations to everyone who participated! BTW, redreading and I are on the same team.

redreading, I actually have a photo of the structure. I'll put it on the image gallery. My partner only made 1 mistake and we got 14th. It was a really easy structure but she said that she just had a brain cramp and mixed up left and right for one piece. I finished writing in 10 minutes (but of course went back and added stuff like descriptions) and she finished building in 15ish minutes.

Ours' was a random one.. it was paper cups with pins, coffee stirrers, paperclips, tacks, and Styrofoam.
I was a mess hahaha.
I believe my partner and I got a perfect though (:
We came out as first place too.

A combination of legos, plastic cub, k'nex, plastic pointy thing, thumb tacks, balsa wood and blue ring thingy. I'm the writer and I actually described one of the pieces as a "clear pointy thingy"
And yeah, I guess so

My partner and I think we are in great shape though. We are hoping to medal at nationals.
