That made me a little curious. I apparently have 90 top three finishes, of which 51 are gold. I wasn't expecting to find out that I had quite so many...

I don't even know what to say anymore...

Here's a few personal favorites:

-The feeling you get when you tie with your rivals at a tournament... but you win due to having more firsts! (Regionals 2017)
-Soloing an event and nearly winning it. (2018)
-The team bonding moments - trips to invitationals/nationals, helping teammates out, being friends outside of partners. (2016-present) This will never get old.

That one time me and my partner couldn't figure out why our device wasn't working in roller coaster at centerville, and we never got a successful run in. It still haunts me to this day and is part of the reason why I loathe rollercoaster

Also that time at Nats where our coaster screwed up again but we were able to fix it cause its you know, nats; but that's a story for another time

When I put vine quotes for every single question on the Thermo test at invitationals and got a 4% on the test.

Burning a breadstick in a microwave at our hotel room (2018 nats)
My friend diving for the remote because we were watching family guy, Lois just said "Peter this is kinda hot", and our teacher was coming in. (2017 nats)
Worshipping a huge turkey bone and yelling "AHHH MY PHONE" on roller coasters, but then actually breaking my phone at the invite (2017 mesa wilson)

oh and the best one, (we get to choose team names for invites)

our ff teams are good, well like no duh cuz 1st at nats, so we got cocky and decided to do a meme. making the 2nd place a meme and the 1st place team a response to that meme.

so it went like this:

2nd place from Highlands, team WHERE IS THE LAMB SAUCE?
*some laughter*

*announcer sighs heavily*

and in 1st place from Highlands, team LAMB SAUCE LOCATED

*announcer turns off mic and stares at them*
*entire cafeteria goes nuts*
*doesn't stop laughing until 2 events after*

i didnt even care that i didnt medal, that legit made my entire month.

Also I minorly roast some of my teammates and tend to remember those vividly

We were on the highway coming back from our tournament (it was a total 2 hour drive), but there was a car crash. Like a very big car crash. A truck completely rammed over a car. It smelled like smoke and there were SWAT teams and sirens all over the place. Immediately, there was a bunch of traffic. We were stuck on the road for 8? 9? hours. We ended up getting home at like 4 am. Funny thing is that there were 2 kids who really needed to use the bathroom, and all of us were starving and dehydrated. Fun thing was that it was social time for a lot of us. When we stopped at the gas station after we were released from the traffic, literally HALF OF THE TEAM bought JUGS OF WATER. When I mean jugs, I mean like MULTIPLE GALLONS. It was SOO funny.

I wish I could do this... alas my school only has one team and we aren't gonna be winning any invites

-Slipping on ice at MIT tournament 3 years ago when there was that huge snowstorm and dropping my boom
-Accidentally placing two ping pong balls into my Air Trajectory device at MIT (also 3 years ago)
-Forgot to warn my MTV partner I was starting the car and having it almost ram into his face
-Having my helicopter smash into a window and break into a million pieces at MIT
-Getting a fever at MIT
