It's a bit of a weirdly specific question, but different websites keep on giving me different crystal systems for Kaolinite. Some say triclinic, some say monoclinic. Which is correct? Thanks so much to anyone who can tell me the answer!

Wow, your right, but most sites seem to say it is triclinic. Triclinic and monoclinic are similar so I see why.

If you have a field guide refer to that to see what it says, a lot of times its more reliable/reputable than websites. I personally am going to go with triclinic as this is what my personal specimen exhibits.

Does anyone have any C division tests they can send? Preferably ones with photos attached. If you can PM me!

Have you taken all the ones on the test exchange? Most of them aren't great, but they work...

I have taken about half. But we are going to be on a train for 18 hours while we are on our way to a competition, so we have a lot of free time together.

New to this. Quick question, are the rocks/minerals listed the only ones that we need to know or might they reference/use others on the test?

Yea it sucks, they need to let the seats recline more.
