I know this is also considered spam, but I apologize for my part in all of this spam.
To avoid it being completely spam, I protect AlphaTauri because she is apparently in SE Michigan and in her twenties.

I didn't even know I had been targeted.
The dead not knowing they were dead, and evidently not reading the first page of the thread.
Or, perhaps it could be the incessant spamming of this forum that seems to keep occurring in this game. To be honest assassination games used to be really fun, but the way some of you guys are going about this has ruined it. We don't need tiny, one-to-two-sentence interjections that dilute the actual important bits of the conversation. We don't need the analysis of behavior, writing style, etc, over the analysis of actual clues. We don't need the brushing-off of people posting their thoughts on this very matter. We don't need the quoting of entire page-long conversations. We don't need the commentary on what obviously just happened. I realize that this list is targetting a select few users on this forum, but unfortunately, those users are detracting from how fun these games normally are. The fact of the matter is, this thread is already 50+ pages long before the 6th clue, the sassy has managed to kill so many users already, and we've wasted our only accusations. I really hope this trend doesn't continue, in this game, or in future games. This sentiment is shared by many of us (whose names I won't mention, because I don't want them tied into this controversial argument.)
Also all of the Officers got a free accusation. And, here's the clue, and the post giving all Officers a free accusation.
Edit: Did I miss something about "20"? It seems to be popping up a lot, and it doesn't seem like a huge clue peice to me...

Does anyone know if Bernard was added to the suspect list before or after the sassy said he wasn't on the list? (Allopathie right after him was originally not on the list). Bernard is 20 years old and not from any of the excluded states.

Re: SciOly Assassination 121: Mystery Land
In my defense, I didn’t even make it to States, not to mention Nationals. As I stated before, I think we should work backwards from the ID clues. For example, search up schools, including colleges, near the big harbors (like Ann Harbor that we have mentioned before) around the lakes, since HI and many other states are ruled out. We’ve also mentioned before that sassy could be a mod, whatever mod they might be, since they could target mods and admins in this game.
The biggest problems we should deal with now are kill clues, and how to identify them apart from ID clues, so we don’t make the same mistakes as last time. ID clues last, so we could figure them out later on.
As for Bernard, he was on the suspected list before, so he can’t be sassy.
EDIT: Also, I think someone made a good point in analyzing the post times of sassy. I’m in central timezone, and I discovered that sassy mostly posted at around 10pm in my time zone. 10 pm is generally a good posting time for many people, and therefore sassy could be someone from the central timezone. Connecting it with the Ann Harbor clue, sassy might very well be a mod from MI, near Ann Harbor.
This confuses me a bit because then the ID clue will be tied to the kill clue in this round, so we should be extra careful on how to separate the kill clue from the ID clue.

Idk about syo... I mean, if he/she were to be sassy, why would they bring up UMich? To draw suspicion? Also, there’s probably a lot of people who went to UMich, and I’m relatively new to know who did and is, so probably searching up who’s school is UMich is a good idea.syo_astro wrote:Alpha went to UMich (Ann Arbor is also in SE MI) and does a lot of music?

Re: SciOly Assassination 121: Mystery Land
Syo is only an exalted member. Can exalted member contact the admins and mods to change the rule to kill them? From what I’ve learned in IRC, apparently exalted members only have that title for recognition, so, like Chi mentioned, probably someone who is already a mod or admin will be more likely.

Just saying you could just PM the mods and ask for a rule change. Also none of the admins are particularly suspicious

Re: SciOly Assassination 121: Mystery Land
I can’t remember if syo was on our suspicion list before or not. Can someone check?
Also, weren’t syo sassy once before? Remember, sassy is brand new this time.
To organize our current thoughts about ID clues:
1. They have never been sassy before.
2. They were never on our suspicion list.
3. They probably live someone near UMich, Ann Harbor, based on the reasonings in previous posts.
4. They have very good grammar, so they are probably in Div. C or even college.
5. They might be admins or mods, but maybe not.
6. They are probably not new to this game, so they could be active in some previous games.
7. They are going to participate in the national competition.
8. Their name has only been mentioned ONCE in the whole entire game.
