What specifically do you mean by our school won't let you? If it's that there has to be a staff member (or in less restrictive cases an adult), then if you tell it well you can probably get a teacher to do some of the administrative stuff that the school requires (for example, our school district requires that students can't handle the money). From a google search, you school has a larger number of teachers than Chattahoochee; there's probably someone out there willing to do it if you phrase it to them well (<- I suggest you ask one of the more experienced people for more info about this)

Our school doesn't really need anyone to actually coach us. we just need someone who can do all of the financial/administrative stuff. I'm pretty sure we don't even need a teacher to show up to competitions. The problem is that our school also requires that any club or team that meets afterschool has to be supervised by a teacher. And believe me, there are not that many teachers willing to supervise us (just come to our school at 2:45 any Tuesday or Thursday and you will see Indians randomly scattered across the school, taking over the teacher's lounge, and setting up a buffet in the computer lab). Also, a lot of teachers have kids and other stuff to do afterschool, so they can't really be our coach.

Still try. Think it through and ask for advice from people who know what they're talking about, and approach some teachers about it.
