Always use the Wiki before asking questions...and then see if there's a thread/forum for that event. More that likely, there is.

Physics is difficult for 99% of the world's population because they don't understand it. The other 1% know too much.

aw, I remember Its About Time, don't miss it at all
Everyone on my team hated that event. We stuck two kids on it. They weren't bad at it, I think we did well at Regionals and States, but we bombed it at Nats. They hated the event.

Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.
Dynamic: 1st @ reg. 19thish @ states, 18th @ nats
Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(
Cell Bio: 9th @ reg. 18th @ nats
Remote: 6th @ states 3rd @ Nats
Ecology: 5th @ Nats

Does anyone (particularly the chalkers) know if there will be any major changes for robot arm concerning the arms construction and task?

There will be no major changes on the construction or the task, however there will be a major addition to the event of a documentation component.

Note no major changes does NOT equal no changes. We've tightened up parts of the rules and closed some loopholes here and there to prevent some of the more 'creative' designs that would have significantly unfair advantages.

The field is a bit smaller, otherwise pretty much the same.
