Yes. I have also crushed balsa that made me think it was basswood for a moment. Most of my crushed balsa was from using too-dull blades.

AP Physics (personal bias, but I digress...), Macro, Psych are all fine. (I would say Calc, but I got a super hard form out of the two forms my year....)
