My sister is also looking at colleges and I have learned a lot from it. Mainly, I've learned that I have no idea where I want to go. That career thing does sound pretty nice. I wish my school had that.

This is Career Cruising's site:http://www.careercruising.com/Default.aspx
Maybe you could talk to your school's counselor to get it. It's really neat.

They have one of their campuses in my city. My regional competition is held there.

Once again, if you're in B, how do you know exactly where you want to go?

I'm in B and i have a general idea of places I want to apply to. My dream would be to go to Cornell but i dont know if i could get into it because it's only freshman year. I think my target schools would be BU or Salem State. I currently think that UMass would be a safety school. However, if my grades plummet sophomore and junior year then this will obvioulsy change.

I find it funny how most of the B Division people are talking about prestigious colleges (ie. Harvard, MIT, or Yale). Although it may be your dream college, and if you try hard enough you might get accepted...reality is that they are expensive! Most people who go either have a college loan or a huge scholarship.
Also, a lot of the people are interested in Medical Degrees. But do you know how much work goes into becoming a Doctor...how many years of school you will have to go through. 7 years + Residency + working you way up to the top!!!
I am considering Medical School...and will accept this work because it's what I love (Biology and Anatomy...especially Neurology. This may sound odd, but I like reading giant textbooks!). :D

So, for careers, go with you will want to do (and will enjoy doing) for the rest of your life!
(There is this thing that we do in HS called personality-career test. It links you personality to a career that may be good for you. I was a "Duty-Fulfiller"--I like to be organized and I don't slack off. It said I should choose a business or medical career. It works pretty well with yout intrests.)

Ok enough of the future for me, now...back to the present ;)
