Okay P2P, Azurite, I and some others were looking at this clue for some time on the IRC. They found that the clue ended up equaling Gwalchgwyn with some cipher thingy and the cipher code had to do with 3 (three curses). Through further searching (naw just googling) we found that Gwalchgwyn is a welsh name meaning white hawk. That is what we have so far.

OK, I looked that up and found it, but it also could be "white falcon", which is also some sort of guitar.

By the way, I tried turning it into ASCII binary or something like that and got:

01001010
01111010
01100100
01101111
01100110
01101011
01101010
01111010
01100010
01110001

But maybe I had to do a Caesar shift first? I can't do that right now, but I'll see in a bit.

EDIT: Nope, nothing.

Caesar shift (using 3) to be specific.

My first thought when seeing the name Gwalchgwyn was to see what the English variations are. Upon asking Google I have learned that Gavin (and various other spellings) derive from Gwalchgwyn. Not sure if this helps at all- just wanted to throw it out there. I'll keep looking at other possibilities.

It could be Gavinupp then.

I think it's definitely worth protecting them. There is also another member named gavin321, but they haven't been active since 2009. It might be a good idea to protect them as well though if we have extra protects at the end.

I protect gavinnupp because of Panda's logic.

We should probably protect others as well though to be safe; yesterday we thought it could be Raven because she goes to Bala Cynwyd (Welsh) and her name is a bird (White falcon). We don't know if she has a forums account though...

Okay, then I protect Raven based on my reasoning shown above :D
