Yeah, it forbids a "rigid spike"...I wouldn't consider a nose cone to be a "rigid spike." They don't want you mounting something sharp or dangerous on the top of the rocket (which will probably be the bottom when it's coming down...you get the idea...)

Also it could mean that when you create your edge at the tip it should not be sharp.
Anyways does anyone have any good pictures for the Egg-O-Naut? Models that look good? I've been looking for it everywhere. A website that is relevant and shows what I am looking for is also great thanx

um well aznscioly I might suggest looking at the links in the wiki

(man I do this alot.) Otherwise you should probably talk to rocketman he is the expert on this he might be able to hook you up with some photos, sketches, or whatever you need

Thanx Star Plug I will mail him. Oh and I tried the wiki and found information but I need examples that I can use which are effective as well. Plus I am going to try to get my rocket to split in half without the egg breaking so I am going to look for that as well.

what do you mean open up on the tip?
If you mean have a nose cone split in two, and then separate, i think so, but it would require a lot of work, and i'm not sure how practical it would be

Nose cone split in two? Completely unnecessary. Just have it separate.

Nose cone split in two? Completely unnecessary. Just have it separate.
Agreed.
Air current from the fall can be used to 'push' the cone off.

what do u do in the egg-o-naut thing? i dont have it but just wondering. is that that thing where u get to drop the thing from up high and see if it breaks?
