At Akron U Regionals today We won third overall, so well at least make it to state. Our coach said we've got the strongest team he's had in a long time, so we're hopeful.

i wish we'd make it though. it's just a long shot for our school, even though this year we have the best team our school's ever had.

I think we should start it now, we started it the first week of March last year. I am going to make the topic now.

We have a good shot this year at winning. The team's all fired up about the prospect of going to Nationals. We don't know how well our rivals (the perennial champions) will do this year. We made it in 2012 and got second last year, so we honestly don't know what'll happen. We believe we can make it if we work hard enough.

How many teams from your state qualify for Nationals?

Only one, unfortunately. Even though we have better teams than some other states *cough* Florida *cough* that get two teams. Our Nationals teams consistently place in the 20s, and I wish the number of bids would be determined by something other than just team numbers.

I went in 2012 with my middle school, and it was incredible. Wish I could go again, but... Brookwood and GSMST.

I'm so bummed.. we got second at state and lost by ONE point. ONE. And it's in florida this year. ugh
