firn line: the zone of a glacier between the lower area of solid ice and the upper region of névé, above where ablation occurs
snow line: the boundary between the zone of ablation (where snow melts quicker than it accumulates) and the zone of accumulation (where snow accumulates faster than it melts)
ELA: equalibrium line altitude, similar to snow line
I think those are right...
how do hide tabs work?

Hold up, I thought the snow line the minimum altitude in a region above which snow can persist year round
