Yeah, well, we've never come close in the 10+ years our school's been participating. I think the highest ever was 5th at states like 7 years ago. Last year we got 6th, and that was pretty good for us.

I don't think we've come close either. Our team has almost always gone to states, but not to nationals.

Our team hasn't broken the top 10 yet.

National medals, gold in bridge, 5th towers, second bottle rockets, 2nd wheeled vehicle, gold in trajectory, 2nd in mystery archetecture, I think that's it. I am trying for my first C division medals this year in electric vehicle, trajectory, elevated bridge, it's about time, and junkyard challenge. It's really hard to win when you have lot's of events to do, it doesn't leave me with enough time to concentrate on them. Last year I did 5 events and had lots of screw ups, although I still got a couple of medals. I also had nothing but screwups my first year at nationals.

4 years. I did not recieve any National medals my 6th grade year, but got a one or two every year after that. This will be my first year in C division, hope we make it to Nationals. I only got the chance to medal in all those events because I was on a team that made it to nationals every year (sometimes it was very close). We all worked together very hard and that gave us all the chance to show our stuff at Nationals. I know ther are individual competitors who could probably be extremely competitive at Nationals if their team could get there, but they never get the chance because the whole team has to do it together.

Wow. What team and state are you in? Making nats four years in a row and doing well. How many did you get in your ninth grade year, since some ninth graders go to C? (like me

)

In our area 9th graders almost aways stay with their B division team even though they move to high school, so that's what I did. 2 National medals in 9th grade, 1st and 2nd. Messed up in my other events last year.
