I did not! Because I was not competing  I went as the Rocks coach. Both of the teams I coached placed though, they got 1st and 2nd in Rocks and Minerals!

as for Div B, I sort of forgot... I believe Hopkins Junior High and Mission Valley Elementary got 2nd or 3rd, and another school (oak something?) got 1st. I'll update this post when the results come out on the website.

top 4 teams from each division will go to states.

Again, congratulations! And a BIG thank you to everyone who made this event possible!
Yay, congrats to everyone! Special shout-out to Paly :) My friends had a ton of fun! I'll be at the Stanislaus tournament!

The people running Bay Area Regionals said that they wouldn't give us our tests back. Is this normal? My team really wants to study so we can get to states next year.

That is what invitational tournaments are for (the Test Exchange, too). This discussion, incidentally, just occurred on the Ohio topic as to why this is common practice.

Yeah, the Churchill invitational helped us a lot. The problem is, we think that the judges mixed up the two teams from our school, and the only way to find out for sure is to look at the tests which they won't give us. Why is it policy to not give them back? I thought SciOly was about learning.

Please click on the word 'Ohio' in my last post. That topic has the explanation. I'd rather not clutter up this one with it, too. I'm sorry you feel scoring at your invitational was goofy. Maybe it was; it happens. Mix-ups are avoided by always writing your team number on your answer sheets (and being clear about school and competition level i.e. 'Skink Middle School Varsity').
