No, by them I meant Solon :D

(admittedly, it'd be pretty cool to have the national champions in state)

A few days late, but congrats to Beckendorff for winning Hopper! (and Riverwood for second place)
And great job Seven Lakes! :D (and LASA as well, 5th is still pretty awesome :))

It depends on if you count Solon's second team.

And fifth: Austin Area Homeschoolers. So close, yet so far.

Good job to everyone who was competing, it was a lot of fun.

Thanks! This is actually our second year as a team, last time we got first in Regionals and 7th(?) in State. It was pretty awesome, especially because I was drafted into the team a few weeks before state and had no clue what I was doing.

EDIT: it appears we got 20th. My memory gives us too much credit.

Unfortunately I'm from the utterly rude and obstreperous (and that was just 2 people on our team) Stephen F. Austin High School. I'm pretty sure our team is going to have a serious talk with those people about their behavior, it was completely inappropriate in my opinion. And if my memory recalls correctly, we were sixth (or maybe seventh?). Great job to everyone though, competition was really fun and my team and I had a blast :D. Even though we didn't even start working like a week or 2 before competition 8-) , we did okay and enjoyed ourselves. This is our second year doing science olympiad (last year we went straight to regionals and horribly failed, but still had a fantastic time  ) and we've just started to get a gist of things and get a feel of what we're going up against. This year we're going to Gulf Coast regionals (Lone Star College), anybody else going there?
