Oh, my gosh, I met you! I was the Chinese girl from Gelinas who a) came in during the last timeslot to meet with her partner right before the event because I had been sick and sleeping in the nurse's office and b) almost forgot her cell phone and had to come back for it as you were scoring.

I thought the test was really, really easy honestly. Some of the answers were dead givaways, and we had more time than we needed. The level of dificulty was lower than a Regional, which may make sense, due to the fact that it's still a few months before the NY Regional tournaments.

Also, it's sort of a lot of pressure when every other question is a tie breaker. Were a lot of ties broken at this event? I feel like the event was very close, like only a few questions and/or tie breakers separated the the winning teams. My partner and I were the fourth place team from Gelinas Varsity (#19), and two of my Forestry students placed sixth.

Is there an event spreadsheet or something from this tournament with the scores online?

Ok, in order of things I want to say:
1) My mom was working the nurse's office, so you also met her :P
2) There were only 2 or 3 ties that had to be broken...first place was a 73/80, second was a 71, third was a 60 something, and fourth was in the 50s
3) There is a spreadsheet with scores...I'd check the flash drive that was in your team's envelope with all your graded tests

Oh, yay, we were in the fifties  I was the really short girl who happened to get a partner over six feet tall... Never mind me, I'm 4'11 and 1/2'' and very self concious about my height. We were the Gelinas team in the last timeslot, my partner was the light brown haired boy with the green eyes and the Gelinas SciO team's shirt who came in without me.

That's funny, she was so very nice to me! Thank her when you get the chance, please?

Is it under copyright? If it isn't, I have a file copy of it.

Does anyone have any news on how many C division teams are going to qualify for the state tournament from the SE regional tournament? I've heard rumors that we might lose a spot?
