What a weird thread.. you must have no other life.

Freeman, you must not have been around long then because this is a very long running, and very popular, theme for a thread- and probably one of funnier ones as well.

You know you have been in SO too long when:

You name trees for fun as you walk to class (even though you haven't been in the event for at least 4 years)

You have seen this thread re-incarnated at least once or twice (probably more with some of the moderators)

When you have no problem eating food that has been stored in a place commonly referred to as the mortuary

When you no longer freak out when you spill HCl over everything

I'll add more later if I can think of them.

Meh, I never even liked this thread the first time it came up. The title itself is an oxymoron. Everyone knows you can never be in Science Olympiad too long! Just ask Uncle Fester!

when you have heard many of fester's stories, and know that he will always have more

When you can program your old robo-cross robot to do your home work.

when you can convince your team do an invitational

when you can hear that your instrument is out of tune AND what hrz it is in NERDY VIOLINER ( which is actually a dieing breed!)

when you already know the whole lesson in bio for that day because of food science (lipids anyone?)

when you have matching hair ribbons to go with all of your scioly t-shirts

when your physics teacher decides that the class is going to watch MythBusters and instead of watching, you study for scioly

when you stay so late at school the night before regionals that you almost miss the begining of your sister's play and have to run next door to the middle school, and then as soon as the show is over, you head back to the high school to help fix a plane that totally just broke on you

When you run to your school on a sunday to practice and no one is there
