I think the main reason for this is that the sassy is actually very active.
Assassinator wrote:That clue was perhaps a bit too easy. By the time I got to New York, I realized that it wasn't paleonaps at all, but merely a scarecrow pretending to be paleonaps. Disgusted, I threw a bomb into the nearest building I saw, which just happened to be the New York Stock Exchange. Don't worry, our favorite dinosaur is safe, but you have 3 days to save my real target. The bombing of the stock exchange will be a perfect metaphor for the global economy without this victim.
The Wall Street Bombing of 1920 was carried out by Galleanists, Italian anarchists led by Luigi Galleani. (here)

Could it be as easy as bluecobra? He/she was the only non assassination poster when searching "global economy" on the forums.

AlphaTauri, Kokonilly, RandomPerson, and syo_astro all are avid fans of xkcd. It's more likely Alpha or Koko, though. But from the rest of the clue, I'd say it's more likely to be Koko, for reasons I can't be bothered to type out right now.
I'm not really an avid fan of xkcd, but I can reference it fluently. Also, there is no reason for me to pick myself after how the last game went and because I am currently on vacation (and was in fact on a plane while the sassy was posting).

In the realm of mildly stupid suggestions, how about twototwenty?(I've already forgotten if he was a target, and technically there is no record against double jeopardy...) we know that the global economy without said victim is chaos, and to be direct about it, the global economy without numbers 2-20 would be very much chaos...

This game. I like this game. I also like the sassy, since everyone was arguing about rules and restrictions, and they had the cheek to do the complete opposite :)

The funny thing is, I had asked to be sassy (like before) only to be informed that Koko has already chosen someone. Shucks.

You have no idea...

Also, I really like this game so far. Solvable clues and a fast pace.

I request an ID clue, 'cuz I always think by the fourth clue we should have an ID clue.
Hey, why a scarecrow? Has anybody thought that may be important? You don't find scarecrows in the middle of NYC, right?
And I third the above post.

I am convinced.
I protect twototwenty because he's from NY and this post connects his username to stocks, which I was trying to do.
EDIT: Sorry about the double post. I completely forgot I already posted.

Well, following that logic I believe someone should also protect thegenius - the economy would be worse off without smart people. (Not saying that smart people did anything to stop the recession...)
