Your next clue (there may be a hint given on this one, depending on how clueless all of you are):
1. A man who stole some of his most famous words from under locke and key.
2. A man famous for achieving victory in war only after others had achieved victory in peace.
"1" is obviously Jefferson
"2" I believe could be Andrew Jackson considering the War of 1812, when he attacked the British in New Orleans after peace had been made but word hadn't reached them yet

OK, so Jefferson is almost definite, and Jackson is certainly plausible, but does anyone have any ideas on who that might point to?

The clue reminds me of Ender's Game, but Jefferson sounds more plausible.

Isn't there a Thomas Jefferson school? (Not too sure...)

Yeah. There's one in Indiana who always seems to go to nationals. I don't think there's anyone from there on scioly though.

Oh, okay. That's just the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Thomas Jefferson

Actually, I found that Demosthenes could be a possible answer to the 2nd part of the clue, as he was a sucessful general in the Pelopenesian War, a war which ended classical Greece's Thirty Years Peace. This would fit quite nicely with the Locke reference, thus pointing to Ender's Game, but more likely than not it is all just a coincidence.

Ender's game was a good book and it talked about space so I protect Space Scientist for the reasons listed above.

Since fozendog's protect is nullified this round I'll back up his protection.
