Send your clarification to nyssodir@optonline.net if you feel like you really need an answer, but as several others have said I don't think you have any cause for concern.

There are a couple links to motors here: http://www.newyorkscioly.org/SOPages/COTResources.html
As for fans, you can get propellor blades at many hobby shops or online. We bought ours from amazon after researching their performance.

Anyone using two motors? We are using one pusher and it just moves a 400 gram sled. Those who have competed..what kind of weighted sleds have you seen? Maybe we will need another motor/tractor prop.

We tried using two motors for a while and found that it was significantly more efficient to use one motor connected to two batteries wired in parallel.

We've been getting times between 2 and 4 seconds with a single motor. What about yours?

This may sound dumb, but a 7.4 V hobby aircraft battery works right? We are buying it online and this type of battery is considered commercial, right? I only saw it mentioned once.

We've been getting between 1 and 3 seconds over the past few weeks depending on the mass.

And, the original question was in reference to the written physics test, not the run of the car

The rules for the written test have been greatly expanded, but I wonder if they are going to seize the opportunity to test the more advanced topics.
