how many digestive system cancers do we really have to know? This table I found on wikipedia shows 38 types! it seems kind of ridiculous to know ALL of them.

Well...it depends on what level you're studying up for. I would say that for Regionals, start with the most common and obvious types (the "main" cancers of the digestive system), and once you finish those, go on to the others. If it's at all humanly possible, learn about all of them. But to start off with...well, it's really quite subjective.

Going by most common, colon cancer is bound to be on the list.

Check the wiki. Check the training handout. Search up stuff from the rules on google.

Science Olympiad can be very subjective. What one test maker makes the test on may be totally different from what another does. For example, one may ask basic questions about only the digestive system while another can ask college-level questions about the trachea. To be safe, check the wiki, read the training handout, and use google.

Does anybody here edit the anatomy wiki at all?
There are a bunch of unfinished headings in the digestive category of the Anatomy wiki.

Hey, you're not the only one who edits the wiki. However, I'm currently focusing on getting notes down myself. A notedump will come at some point.

Yay a notedump :D

SciBomb97, if you have any info not on the wiki you are welcome to add it. You could add that little bit on COPD/emphysema you posted eariler.

Edit: oh yeah, I didn't mean to imply that... sorry bout that. Kokonilly, will the notedump be for the digestive system?
