Re: Scioly Assassination 72: Pandora's Box
How may I ask, are the clues ambiguous? Are you saying that my first clue was more ambiguous than a clue like:brobo wrote:So far all the clues have been really ambiguous...
And if they're too hard, are they tougher or vaguer than clues like this:Assassinations Past wrote:The first of these strange visions will show you a victim, a person whom you may or may not hold dearly to you, but will die never the less. A string on wood vibrates, and by his hand many have died. Now it will be his turn.

I didn't think so brobo.
As for your current clue, think comic books...

That is a horribly weak argument. We did complain about the first one; comparing your clues to bad ones basically tells us that they are bad. I wasn't around for the second one. The third one was quite impossible; the only reason we didn't complain was because EAST randomly saved himself.Assassinator wrote:How may I ask, are the clues ambiguous? The fact remains that your clues are too broad; unlike the good clues of a few of the last games in which they were challenging, but not so broad or hard as to we had no idea where to start. Make easy and fun clues; not hard ones. The goal of the assassinator should not be to "win"; you "win" by making sure everybody has fun playing.

Well put, Winneratlife. Might I also add that all those clues that you say are worse than yours actually required intuitive thinking, over the course of three days. Also, they were all used in the context of the game. Yes, there were some complaints, but the clues worked. Your clues, on the other hand, do not work. Targeting a bunch of people, then evaluating a protect based on if it makes sense? It's understandable to do that once in a time crunch, but a game based off of that shows that you do not care about the people playing having fun, which defeats the purpose of this game.winneratlife wrote:That is a horribly weak argument. You are a lazy assassinator. Shame on you.
The fact you tried to attack brobo with his own clues is rude, unprofessional, and incredibly crass, especially since it does not help your argument at all. You can prove your point without being a jerk. I am incredibly disappointed in you.
As for this clue, THINK COMIC BOOKS? WHY BOTHER solving the clue the first day, when it is so vague that the hint STARTS to put us into the right direction, giving the officers really only 24 hours to solve the clue.
As for this two accusations a week thing, I will go head and use mine so that we do not get penalized. And you know what, im going to accuse based on logic you think we should be doing to solve your kill clues! So here goes:
I ACCUSE PALEONAPS BECAUSE:
1) Poltergiests are ghosts/entities that are dead, therefore they must old (old is a relative term here). Another way to say old is Paleo
2) Pranks will often occur to you when you are unaware, such as taking a nap. Couple that with point 1 and you get paleonaps.
3) Paleo has often been one of the first people to denounce a game for being long and boring, and would likely initiate a horrible rule like 17. The other is brobo, who happens to be dead.
4) Paleo was the only one to yell "PWND" after the assassinator's rude reply, and only two minutes after, for that matter. It is obviously him.
This is ridiculous. Get some real clues, sassy.

Re: Scioly Assassination 72: Pandora's Box
DO YOU HONESTLY THINK I WOULD MAKE CLUES THIS HORRIBLE? DO YOU HONESTLY THINK I KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT MATH TO MAKE THE FORMULA FOR THE ENTRY CLUE? DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT I WOULD MAKE A RULE LIKE NUMBER 17 (keep in mind, I like to win. Having a guaranteed two accuses a week makes that unlikely)? DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT EITHER QUIZ OR I WOULD GET PICKED AFTER WHAT WE DID IN 65?
I was on at the same time that the Assassinator posted, and then had to go take a flu remedy because I am sick today. I WILL tell you that amerikestrel signed on right after the sassy left. I don't think it's him, but W/E.

Re: Scioly Assassination 72: Pandora's Box
Guys....calm down. It isn't easy being the sassy. It also helps to be right if you're going to go on a long and stinging rant like that...which your accusation is not Idaho.
Just an observation, but every time the sassy tells you how to solve a clue in the middle of a game, people b**** and moan about the clue. Give them a break. If you're thinking of a connection in your head, it isn't necessarily easy to tell if other people are going to be able to make that connection.
EDIT: naps....shut up. An all caps post just makes you seem like a noobish jerk.
