Are there any Kansans on here in a region other than NE Kansas whose regional is this Saturday? If so, when is your regional and how did you do?

Hey, another Kansan! Hi!

I'm from Wichita, so my regional was two days ago. My team got second by five points, though we probably would have won if not for how Wind Power was run. >_< Granted, I'm not in that event - I only know what happened from my friend who is in it. Oh, and if we hadn't decided to cancel three events that morning, we certainly would have done better. I spent weeks studying for one of those events...

What about your regionals?

RESULTS FROM ST. JAMES THUNDER INVITATIONAL

3rd Place: Lincoln Southwest (-28) (Congrats Celeste)
2nd Place: St. James Academy (-20) (Yes, second)
1st Place: Olathe North (111)
^Beating St. James at their home tournament feels good :)

St. James was missing two key varsity team members, putting them in a crippled situation in 8 events which they normally, easily medal in. ;)
Regionals is gonna be fun gl :)

Ha, my team was missing a lot of our main members at that invitational, too.

I bet regionals will be quite fun for you, then, but I'm really excited for state right now. Speaking of state, zyzzyva98, my entire team said today during our practice that we think your team is out to get us - but we're quite ready for the challenge. ;)

I'd be more worried about Wichita Collegiate than yours or anyone else's school.

Can you explain why you think so? We beat them again in regionals. They're my school's main rival in SciOly, but I'm not too worried about them right now.

(Of course, I'll probably wind up eating my words.)
