TECHNICALLY they are supposed to tell you 2 weeks prior to the tourney if they are doing something like that.

At regionals we used 2 computers but at state and nats we used only one.
yes! that is y i was confused..i thought that you could use only one computer and then if we usd two, that wouldn't be according to the rules.....

and brobo, we DID practice with one and at state you do use one so were just going to drop that and focus on using one...and we tried to make a website...   but it didn't help much..we didn't use it at all....

I'm extremely perplexed at our regionals this Saturday.

At our regional, he let each team have two computers, he let each group do a graph & short answer on both computers, only (in his words) "taking the right answer if it appears among the two papers".

Not to mention that he changed one of the short answer questions by going around to each team saying " Number four isnt what's written on the page. It's not what color Winter Storm Warnings are, it's Winter Storm Watch."

Was this according to Compute This rules?

Also, what in the world is open office? I had never used it before this regional.... :|
Is it an expensive program to get?

It is an open source office suite. The last time I used it, it was about as advanced as MS Office 2003, but that has probably changed.
It is free.

Yes, the event supervisor is allowed to make corrections to the test before the test begins.
No, you won't be allowed to use two computers, that shouldn't even happen.
You MIGHT use Open Office at states, but as previously stated, they'll need to let you know beforehand.
