pikachu4919 wrote: Mon Sep 02, 2019 9:41 pm Before you ask me about it, no, I will not be involved in any of the operations regarding Purdue's State Tournament this year. A lot of stuff went down over the past several months, so there are several reasons why I will not be returning this year, but I will not elaborate upon them here publicly.

Terrible.

At least that has been the impression the tournament director has given me.
Oh boy. Any specifics?

I guess the state board isn't allowing them the freedom to make the schedule the way that works the best for their event supervisors, and they have to make a lot of room changes and re-reserve a lot of things that shouldn't have had to.
Like I said at the top of this thread, I am not involved this year, I know nothing about specific internal operations, and I certainly do not have power at all to fix problems since I am not involved. I do know if I try at all, my efforts will more than likely not be welcomed by some of the people there since quite a bit of bridge burning (that wasn't even from my end) occurred months ago before host privileges were given to Purdue. The only things I know, if any at all, are hearsay and/or personal complaints that people have brought up to me.

Point is, I can't answer any questions here because I genuinely do not know of anything that is going on within internal operations.

Are you supervising anything?

No. To be honest, I'm actually going to be out of the country on tournament day.
