pikachu4919 wrote: September 2nd, 2019, 9:41 pm Before you ask me about it, no, I will not be involved in any of the operations regarding Purdue's State Tournament this year. A lot of stuff went down over the past several months, so there are several reasons why I will not be returning this year, but I will not elaborate upon them here publicly.

Terrible.

At least that has been the impression the tournament director has given me.
Oh boy. Any specifics?

I guess the state board isn't allowing them the freedom to make the schedule the way that works the best for their event supervisors, and they have to make a lot of room changes and re-reserve a lot of things that shouldn't have had to.
Like I said at the top of this thread, I am not involved this year, I know nothing about specific internal operations, and I certainly do not have power at all to fix problems since I am not involved. I do know if I try at all, my efforts will more than likely not be welcomed by some of the people there since quite a bit of bridge burning (that wasn't even from my end) occurred months ago before host privileges were given to Purdue. The only things I know, if any at all, are hearsay and/or personal complaints that people have brought up to me.

Point is, I can't answer any questions here because I genuinely do not know of anything that is going on within internal operations.

No. To be honest, I'm actually going to be out of the country on tournament day.
