Well that is a tough question to answer. I would like to say no, they do not and should not ask about National Level Diseases in Regional tests, but, sadly, I cannot promise you the proctors will not do it. Thus, I would recommend studying National Level Diseases but not hit them hard in your studying.

I believe a common mistakes made are two things. (One) Many students forget to study not just about organs and tissues, but also cellular structure and more specifically the molecules that are transported and changed in that organ. (Two) Also, many kids focus too much on either the diseases or anatomical makeup of a biological structure and not enough of both. Both are just as important as the other and I believe many students forget that fact.

Thx, so I should study cellular structures too? Also like I said in my earlier question is there an effective of studying that works for u? and sorry but one more question, is ther some thing I shouldn't spend much of my time studying, or somthing I should spend alot of time and detail on?

thx in advance, pls help...

for b division best strategy is first study from the study guides that are posted on sci oly website for each systems, study from a high school anatomy physiology textbook like marieb (stick to the relevant chapters) google search the diseases missing in there and download all possible practice tests available and do them read the answers multiple times. that should do it!

Definitely study cellular structures. They can ask questions about the macroscopic and microscopic characteristics. An effective way of studying is a combination of reading textbooks and taking exams. This was how I studied, and I realized the topics that needed more emphasis in my studies. For your last question, you can never study too much. The more you study, the more you understand the topic. However, make sure you go over all of the topics on the rules before researching and studying more about the topic.

I second this study method! Reading from A/P textbooks then quizzing yourself by taking practice exams is a very quick and effective way of understanding and memorizing new information. Don’t forget to also check out YouTube videos about pathology and A/P!

last year, from cardiovascular system, in our state test, we had questions about how electrical impulses are generated in the heart (action potential by exchange of sodium, potassium and calcium ions) don't spend a lot of time on such details, but histology of bones, skin and muscles, you need to know the basic stuff and picture identification

Thank you so much to everyone for answering my questions, but I have two more  :
1. I'm planning on putting the muscle list and everything we need to know abt them such as the origin, insertion, etc. in the cheat sheet bc I dont think I have enough time left to study that since I just started studying for A&P last week... So can someone pls recommend diagrams relating to the muscle list that I can put on the cheat sheet?

2. Also can someone also recommend a diagram for skeletal system, I found one which I'll attach done below but if someone has a more detailed one then could you pls pls pls share it with me? https://www.google.com/search?q=skeleta ... DX71-_myM:

thx,

have you guys been seeing a lot of complicated questions about surface anatomy of individual bones on your tests so far?

additionally, what have you guys been seeing in the histological (histopathologic) realm? i've been having trouble finding good diagrams to study from.

For the first question, are you talking about things like trochanters, fossae, and condyles? If so, I haven't really encountered questions on it but I would study it if I were you.

For the second question, all I've seen on histology are just questions regarding the tissue makeup of the epidermis, dermis, hypodermis, etc, as well as types of collagen. Not much, though. Haven't seen stuff on histopathology yet. Don't know of any good diagrams, however.

I have muscle origin, insertion, and action for each muscle on the list. This can be knocked out on a good Saturday or Sunday if you can spare a couple hours and collab with your partner. I don't really know of good comprehensive diagrams online, since I use the diagrams in Saladin's textbook. As for the skeletal system, I used that exact diagram up until a couple weeks ago, but then removed it since I memorized the bones. They shouldn't show too detailed a diagram on tests (for the skeletal system).

However, they may ask about cranial anatomy, in which case https://opentextbc.ca/anatomyandphysiol ... ull-01.jpg is a pretty good image.

I am not sure that I agree with you here. "Basic surface anatomy" of individual bones is included in 3.b.i. which I would interpret to mean that individual processes, surfaces, tuberosities, etc. are fair game, although I would expect supervisors to focus on major features as the rules say "basic".
