Perhaps Stats should be its own category. It doesn't fit neatly into the linear pre algebra -> algebra I -> geometry -> algebra II -> precalc -> calc" sequence. It's not an extremely difficult class, but people take it at different times in the sequence, so past a certain pt, so it's hard to say how advanced Stats is. A lot of the kids I knew in hs took multivariable or even cross registered at the local college for math but never took Stats, and there were also people who took it right after precalc.

True, but if we are looking to give test writers levels of A, B & C, then perhaps Level B is best since the statistics in DD (or even ExpD) is not on the most advanced levels.primitive_polonium wrote:Perhaps Stats should be its own category.
