At invitationals they let you do it with three, at the cost of a penalty; however, don't expect this to happen at regionals, states, or, if you make it, nationals.

we failed to get a spot for state but we got most improved school award
only took 3 years for my school to get medals

At Regionals, we had the usual dribbling a basketball through cones, toss foam balls into a container of some sort, and the 4-person run-while-holding-on-to-a-hula-hoop. I didn't see the individual questions (I wasn't competing), but the team question seemed to be to name the planets in reverse order (Neptune -> Mercury).

That's too bad, but congratulations on being the most improved! Maybe next year.

lol there is no next year for me and my bud we leave to go to high school but i made a joke me and him will show up next year a steal all the medals
this is a qoute on what my friend said after we were depressed about not gettinh a medal
" We are not losers We are Improvers " XD it was the funniest thing i heard him say in the mist of defeat lol

Well, good luck at the high school. I'm moving up as well, and due to complications involving grade levels in our school district next year, I'm not sure if anyone is going to remain on our junior high team.

Dont you guys have a high school sci oly?..
And congrats, our team has won the "spirit" award at regionals every year for the past 3 years..

And he lives in Michigan...which is the really weird part. I think sci oly was founded in MI
But ya, definitely try to start a team, even if you have less than 15 people, just get a teacher/parent to sponsor/"coach" you and ur all set....in a year or two, you'll probably have more members...
But ya, TRY to start a team...if you dont you may always regret it...i know id die without sci oly...
