I'd like to know: do we need to know what the dwarf planets are? and do we need to know what disqualifies them from being planets? also, what abut sedna, the oort cloud, and the kuiper belt? thanks a lot

May I direct you to the Solar System Wiki? It has a lot of the info you need to know for this event, and if you can't find something, there's always Google.
And yes, you do need to know the 5 dwarf planets (which are dwarf planets and not actual planets because a true planet is big enough to be rounded by its own gravity, has cleared its orbit of other "space debris", etc. The important thing to know is that actual planets have cleared their orbits while dwarf planets have not.) I'm really bad at explaining these things, so sorry if I don't make any sense.

Don't forget about some basic formulas, like Escape Velocity. Thats a big one.

Uhh robodude, we recently discussed how we thought this would be more of a concept based event, due to the huge shrinkage (Yes, oxymoron intended) of resources. This is B division...they won't make you know all of the numbers and stuff.
