I did a list last year on all of the fossils. they might have changed a little bit but i dont feel like changing it all the way. send me an email to reply to so i can send it back.

Im pretty sure anything can be in your binder as long as it's hole-punched and in the binder.

This is true. i recommend putting them in sheet protectors to make sure that they cant be damaged.

How big are your binders typically? If I put everything in sheet protectors I doubt it would fit. Though I'll only use about 10% of it for the competition, there's a lot of safety stuff in my binder.

usually about 1-2 min....for states at least

it kinda depends on what you wanna put in your binder. some people just put the information they dont really know. other people cram every last bit of information into their binder...which makes the difference between a 1 in. and a 3 in. binder. just make sure everything is hole punched and not in the pockets and that it is well organized and easy to navigate...especially if you have a 3 in. binder.

if you need three inches of binder for the competition, than you have way to many notes. all you need is a list(i have one) and a guide book and you are good to go.

I never did like guide books.
It's a lot of wasted space, with specimens you dont need to know, the pictures arent always helpful, and they often dont have all the info you might need.
I always find it better to make your own, because you know what you need in there, and you learn a lot just from making it.
