We had 11 juniors last year. . .the beginning of the year was a little rough. One dropped out before the year started because he didn't like his chances. One quit because he was placed on JV. The other two stayed in JV, and one was an alternate at State, while the other couldn't go. It was partly hard because our team had been new when all of them came up, so all 11 had been on varsity since their freshman year. And there really weren't any clearcut choices the year before. The only one me and my friends thought was positive to end up on varsity was the only girl.

And when my grade becomes seniors, it's happening again. We have maybe 15 sophomores, though not all of them are currently on varsity.

Fun side note: we got our school paper this week, and someone wrote an article about our season up until regionals (since our paper is always a month or two behind). The article was mainly about our coach, but my favorite part was where the author said our school WON Regionals for the 5th year in a row. The author, obviously, was not on the team.

Screw Stevenson, CLS is going to Nats! Ah, that article made my day.

You're right. Courage isn't having the courage to admit he's not going 2 nats.

Yeah, I was kidding. That's what our team's been saying to everyone who congratulates us after reading the article. I know I'm not going to Nats, it's merely a distant dream of mine. One which will probably never come true. Oh well.

And by the way, I'm a girl
