I have finally broken out of my 1:30 trap LOL, reached 1:40 today both ways. Here's the funny thing, after testing bi planes and tri-blade propellers for so long, I still can't build them perfectly for them to be efficient. Thus, after some redesigning, I went back to mono plane with 2 bladed no flare props and is able to get 1:40

I was gonna take a video for you guys but I realized that I ran out of the correct size rubber bands to fly again. This is kinda problematic as I don't quite have the left turn perfectly trimmed AND I have an invite coming up this Saturday. Anyone knows how fast Freedom Flight Ships rubber? (Hopefully 2 days?)

Xiangyu

He ships very fast but drop him an email explaining and he can probably offer other shipping options for a fee. However, don't hold me to that- that will be up to him.

Which invite?

Allendale, it's a small invite in Michigan.

What team do you coach?

Xiangyu, good job! You're basically where we're at! And with a much simpler approach, to boot!

IF you order soon (like early today) and Freedom flights isn't getting a lot of orders, it can arrive on Friday. I did this once before  I would not rely on it though because you never know. Have a backup plan.

As a competitor, what should I be focusing on the most to increase flight times? I would assume it would be propeller/rubber band, or am I wrong?

Get the airplane in trim, then yeah, that's most of it right there.

How do I decrease the total climb of the plane to accommodate for a lower ceiling, without losing out on too much flight time?
