Since the list hasn't come out yet and most people haven't started studying, making a Forestry ID practice is pointless right now. We can start it in the fall when the season begins.

Seeing this makes me so depressed, ornithology was my second favorite event, right behind fossils... And now fossils is gone too!

I don't think this event is coming back until the distant future.. We have another year of forestry, then two years of entomology, then 2 years of herpetology or something like that before ornithology cycles back again.
That being said, would anyone be interested in continuing this thread just for fun?

I wouldn't mind, if it's not considered bringing back a dead thread. Now that you mention it, I do remember myself having trouble identifying bird calls and simple birds...a few nights ago, I almost forgot what the yellow-breasted chat looked like
