Marie murphy hosted an invite. it wasn't publiced i don't think. it was a true invintational, I don't no if Danial Wright had one. All I know is Marie Murphy DID have one.

So for the Marie Murphy one, did you have to be invited to go? Or was it a sign-up thing?

From what I understand it was some if the better teams from the northwest suburbs, I'm not saying any team is not good, just some nearby and more prestigious schools

I'll clarify everything being I was at the MM Invite...

They did hold an invitational, except it was not published on the website nor was it advertised. The only teams there were MM, South, NSCD Park View, and... um... ._. I forgot the last 2... :/

The school is pretty small and can't support to many people, hence it only having 6 teams there.

Daniel Wright did not hold an invitational.

Since my activity during the offseason is sporadic at best, I'll open this question now for the summer: does anyone else want a 'turn' to make the 2014 season topic? If not, I will gladly write another one updated for 2014 at the board turnover. If so, I will, also, gladly pass the torch on to the next person.

And congrats to any MM or DW folks reading this. The results at the national tournament are impressive and speak volumes about the SO programs in IL.
