Ah, that helps. Is that where most of your learning for thermo comes from :?: because I wanna learn more thermo seeing how I am the builder and my partner is the tester :D

At MC Barrons I got 1st in Prediction, 2nd in Heat Retention, but LAST (that how dumb I am, and we had the biggest binder XD, I guess intimidation does not work :? ) in the test. So, I got 16th!
Well, in the forum it is mentioned many a time that the test score is more important than the device part's score; it is mainly about the device section as most of us are new to the event, and while we know how to tackle the test, figuring out the device is harder, so we discuss how to most efficiently insulate the beaker. If you want to ace the test, I recommend adding to your notes a table of contents, history, and studying how to do thermodynamics in AP Chem and AP Physics II.
Can you clarify what you mean by "studying how to do thermodynamics in AP Chem and AP Physics II"?
Most of the math questions on thermo will be explained in AP chem (entropy) and AP physics (all others)

Just as a side note, Khan Academy Thermodynamics is a great resource for learning calculations or concepts.

How exactly do you guys do history? This is my first time doing an event with history in it and every competition something new just seems to show up how do I make sure to get them next time?
What did the thermometer say to the graduated cylinder?

Take a billion tests, and put down everything that's asked into your binder.

Categorize your info based on person. Have their country, birth/death dates, and every single achievement they've made (with dates). Be as comprehensive as possible, but also well-organized.
