The only answers to question as posed is a) punt, or b) READ all the good discussion/ideas/answers that are already here and work your tail off for the rest of the week applying that knowledge.

Yeah, I wish they were more specific though. This is getting really stupid ^.^ I think me and my partner are just going to put two on. And ask about it when we get there which one they want to use.sj wrote:fishman100 wrote:What I meant by that was "if the rules say a paper clip" wouldn't having multiple clips be illegal?fishman100 wrote:But doesn't the rules say "a bent paper clip?"
We need to have "A bent paper clip" for the purpose of measurement, but that does not disallow us from having multiple paper clips so long as one is designated as the one that will be used for measurement at the start of the competition. I agree that this may bring up issues if the supervisors do not explicitly record which clip is used for measurement, but the rules do not, in my opinion, probihit multiple paper clips that could potentially be valid points of measurement.

Re: Gravity Vehicle C
I'm not really sure. But I think it skids less at a farther distance; as its going slower. But one thing I noticed with skid is, of course the floor. (Like if its dusty it will skid more) What kind of tires are you using??? =)questionguy wrote:When trying to account skid, does it increase the further you go, or does it remain constant at any distance?

What type of tires is everyone using? You don't have to say if you want to keep a secret.... Just wondering

I've seen quite a few CDs/mini CDs with balloons wrapped around them.Half-Blood-Princess wrote:What type of tires is everyone using? You don't have to say if you want to keep a secret.... Just wondering

Re: Gravity Vehicle C
We found a couple rubber RC car tires. They deform pretty easily, so I'm thinking about switching
