Ah, perfect, I just busted out some old handouts from rocks and minerals back in the day.
1. List the criteria which define whether a substance is a mineral or not (I'm looking for 5).
2. Draw a basic diagram of the rock cycle (yes, MS paint is fine).

Come to Pangea today all around the globe. Our formal dinners are to die for! All dishes served on tectonic plates.
Don't be Angara that all the jokes are Gondwana.
PM any rock or mineral question!

I don't think I'll have time to finish my Rocks test (like ever) so here's one of the stations I made (ignore the numbers just use 1,2,3,& 4):

Good job! For three there's also walls and ceilings (drywall and stuff), but you still got 3 so it's fine. 1. Identify the mineral.
2. Give the names of each of the varieties shown.
3. This mineral is (harder/softer) than quartz.
4. Which class of silicates does it belong to?

All right except for the specimen on the right for question two (it's heliodor, which has a more yellow-green color than emerald).calvin102111 wrote:1. Beryl 2. (left to right) Morganite, Aquamarine, and emerald 3. Harder 4. Cyclosilicate
