2. Grows as deciduous shrubs or small tree
3. Fruit producing
4. Physical removal before fruiting will prevent seed dispersal. Herbicides can be used with repeated applications [glyphosate, triclopyr and picloram]

1. Canada Thistle (Cirsium arvense)
2. Asterales & asteraceas
3. Lemme guess at seed dispersal and herbicide resistance???
4. Mesic, well aerated soils.
