Well, while we were fixing the wiki and upgrading it, made sure that doc, xls, and pdf were all uploadable.

Are there any other file extensions you would need?

I'll enable xlsx and docx, but I'd rather stuff get downconverted to the 2003 format so everyone can definitely open it...

Yes, PLEASE save in .doc format. I hate when people save in .docx and then email you the file and expect you to be able to use it.

There is an addon for Word 2000/2003, but it's a pain to have to put it on.

.Doc is as close to a standard as you can get. I have no idea why Microsoft decided to screw things up.
